Tipi and Shepherd's Hut

Whether you’re a family looking for a different type of holiday experience, a couple looking for romantic weekend away or a group looking to do something different, the tipi and shepherd’s hut are great for getting away from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

The tipi and shepherd’s hut are positioned on the edge of the vineyard by a beautiful old oak tree. The sun sets directly in front of them and is a perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine as dusk settles and stars begin to twinkle.

Both are a short stroll from the shower, toilet, kitchen and dining facilities.

Tipi

A tipi is a traditional nomadic dwelling with a hole in the apex, offering comfortable accommodation in virtually all weather conditions. Sleeping up to five people on futons, it is beautifully furnished with rugs and candle lanterns creating a lovely relaxed living space with plenty of room.

Made in England, the tipi is constructed to the highest standards, from the best materials and is fully waterproof. 21ft in circumference, it has a roomy majestic feel to take you back to your nomadic roots. Outside, a barbecue/fire pit and picnic table make eating al fresco a delight.

Designed for people looking to get away from it all and experience something different, there is no electricity supply in the tipi itself, but the communal kitchen and dining area are fully equipped with all utilities. Guests need to bring all the usual camping gear. Dogs are not permitted.

Shepherd’s Hut

The shepherd’s hut is a new version of the traditional home of a shepherd and a 20th century forerunner to today's recreational vehicle. On its original iron chassis, it is made of wood and has old-fashioned wheels and steps going up to it. The double stable doors and windows allow plenty of sunlight to stream in.

The shepherd’s hut sleeps two adults (no children please). Please bring your own bedding. There is electric lighting and heating or a lovely wood-burning stove. Futons are provided for sleeping, along with a kettle, toaster and fridge. Outside there is a barbecue and fire pit and a picnic table. Dogs are not permitted.
