Fun life

The Fun Life itinerary brings together activities which are laid back and leisurely. Perfect for groups of children and adults, this day out is full of adventure and excitement, thrills and spills. You're guaranteed to leave exhausted and exhilarated.

Secret Valley welcomes groups of 12 – 120 onto the farm. You're welcome to bring your own picnic. See our catering for groups information. There is also the option of a group barbecue at the end of day, reminiscing over the day's events and watching the sun set over the Bristol Channel from the farm's highest point.

The adrenalin-fuelled activities take place both up in the trees, down on the ground and in water so suitable clothing is a definite. Safety briefings and equipment are provided.

Mountain boarding

Described as snowboarding on wheels and skateboarding in four wheel drive, mountain boarding is the best dry downhill fun you can have. The 800 metre long hills is a huge natural half pipe and one of the longest natural mountain board slopes in the country. We have two nursery slopes which are used for teaching and for beginners, a slalom run and a choice of jumps for more experienced riders.

Raft building

Working in two teams, each is given an assortment of ropes, poles and barrels to construct their raft. The additional challenge of time penalties is an almost certain recipe for disaster! There is a race across the lake to win, as well as other challenges which test both brains and brawn.

High ropes course

The high ropes course consists of a numberof sections, at different heights, each demanding different skills and abilities. Sections include the multi-vine, low and high cat walks, postman's walk, trapeze, gladiator ring and leap of faith.

Low ropes course

Our purpose-built low ropes course encourages communication and co-operation to develop the skills needed to both lead and be part of a team. Teamsfind their way through a spider's web, tightropes, beams and other obstacles without touching the floor.

Kayaking

Having gained confidence in the raft building exercise, this is your chance to relax on the water, gently making your way across or around the lake.
