Country life
The Country Life itinerary brings together activities which are laid back and leisurely. Perfect for groups, the day out still leaves plenty of time for individuals to nurture their own interests. You get really close to nature in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
You're welcome to bring your own picnic. See our catering for groups information. There is also the option of a group barbecue at the end of day as an added extra, watching the sun set over the Bristol Channel from the farm's highest point.
Bush craft skills
Are you the next Ray Mears? Learn practical skills for surviving outside and using the countryside to support you. The session can be tailored according to the group's requirements, but the essentials of finding food, water and shelter are always covered.
Fly fishing
The 1.5 acre lake is home to native trout. Enthusiasts can find a quiet bank to fish from and lose an entire afternoon in a stunning spot.
Falconry
Every bird of prey is impressive close up and you can't get any closer than this. After watching a display you have the chance to fly a falcon, while learning about this powerful bird.
Wine tasting
The day closes with an introduction to Secret Valley's vineyards and wine making. There's a chance to sample the red, white and rosé wines.
