Seasonal events
On a secluded farm high up in the hills, you get a real feel for the ever-changing seasons, so the idea behind our seasonal events is that local people have plenty of good reasons to get out in the fresh air.
Spring
Watching the world around us burst into life is a favourite time of year for many. You can sense the excitement in the animals as they find spare energy to frolic and play. It's time to blow away the cobwebs, pop on a warm jumper and get outside. The farm walks are open every Sunday 10am – 4pm.
Summer
Soaking up the sun and taking in a stunning view is all it takes for many to make the most of a perfect summer's day. Of course, there's a huge list of exciting leisure activities to take part in if you so wish, and summer is the best time of year to get together with a gang of mates and take yourselves off into the countryside for some good old fashioned fun.
Autumn
Harvest is when all the hard work put in throughout the year pays off. Farmers are always busy, but things get really manic in the autumn. As well as bringing in the crops, it's time to prepare the farm for the cold winter months ahead.
Winter
The work doesn't stop just because the weather sets in. It's actually one of our busiest times on Cobbs Cross Farm, selecting and preparing Christmas trees from our plantations. Most trees are sold to wholesalers who sell them across England, but our Christmas shop is your chance to choose your own tree as well as stocking up on healthy locally grown foods and wines for your larder.
